The Bucharest Court on January 20 extended by 30 days the detention of Andrew Tate, the divisive social media personality who was detained in Romania on December 29. The 36-year-old British-U.S. citizen and his brother, Tristan, were arrested on charges of being part of an organized crime group, human trafficking, and rape. Romanian authorities last week confiscated 15 luxury cars and other assets worth an estimated $3.9 million in connection with the case. Tate had 4.9 million followers on Twitter.
