Bus Crash In Daghestan Kills Nine


At least nine people have died and dozens of others were injured when a bus crashed in Russia's Daghestan region.

The Daghestani Interior Ministry said on July 13 that 27 people were hospitalized after the crash, which occurred on the Makhachkala to Astrakhan highway near the village of Talovka Tarumovsky in the Caucasus republic's Tarumovka district.

Officials said there were 33 passengers on the bus.

A health official said four children were injured in the accident, which reportedly involved the bus and a KamAZ truck.
