After Turkey shot down a Russian jet near the Syrian border on November 24, Russia imposed sanctions on Turkish imports, claiming that some products including meat and fruit do not meet Russian safety standards. At a market in the southwestern Russian city of Krasnodar, fruit and vegetable sellers complained about rising prices, but many still voiced support for the sanctions.
