Russian Opposition Leader Navalny Released From Detention


Russian opposition leader Aleksei Navalny was released on July 7 after spending 25 days at a detention center in Moscow. He was jailed for organizing unauthorized public meetings after he led major demonstrations in recent months. Speaking at his campaign headquarters, Navalny said he and his supporters "will not bend under any pressure." (AP)
