Roadside Bombs Kill Seven In Afghanistan's Helmand Province

At least seven people have been killed in two roadside bomb attacks in Afghanistan's southern Helmand Province.

The casualties included a family of four who died along with their driver when the car they were traveling in hit an improvised bomb in Khanashin district late on February 2.

District governor Shah Muhammad Mir blamed the Taliban for the attack.

Also on February 2, two police officers were killed in a similar bomb attack in Musa Qala district of Helmand Province.

The police officers were on a routine patrol when their vehicle was blown up.
