Suicide Bomber Hits Indonesian Mosque, Wounds 17


Reports from Indonesia say a suicide bomber today attacked a mosque located inside a police compound in Indonesia, killing himself and injuring at least 17 people attending Friday prayers.

Those wounded in the explosion in West Java province's town of Cirebon included a local police chief.

Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim country, has been the scene of some major attacks by Islamic militants over the past 10 years, including the 2002 Bali bombings which killed 202 people.
