Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has been moved from the hospital where he was recovering from injuries to a prison medical facility in Fort Devens, Massachusetts.

The U.S. Marshals Service made the announcement on April 26.

Tsarnaev and his older brother, Tamerlan, are suspected of carrying out the twin bombings on April 15 that killed three people and injured at least 260.

Tamerlan died in hospital following a shoot-out with police on April 19 and his wounded brother, Dzhokhar, was captured later the same day.

On April 25, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said he had been informed by the FBI that the Tsarnaev brothers had discussed carrying out another attack in Manhattan.
