WATCH: Erdogan Welcomed In Sarajevo

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says Turkey wants to strengthen economic and political ties with Bosnia, where it has so far invested 50 million euros ($56 million) and intends to invest another 25 million euros.

Erdogan arrived in Sarajevo on May 20 with a large number of ministers and businessmen who signed several deals that should increase economic cooperation between the two countries.

Bosnian President Mladen Ivanic said the extended export of food and other goods from Bosnia to Turkey should create new jobs, especially as Bosnian milk producers have problems exporting to EU countries.

Erdogan said he expects cooperation with the Bosnian arms industry, in the area of tourism, and in infrastructure development.
