Vasip Sahin, the governor of Istanbul Province, says an explosion that wounded five people near a police station in Istanbul was caused by a bomb that had been planted on a motorcycle.

The blast on October 6 was in the neighborhood of Yenibosna, about one kilometer from Istanbul’s international Ataturk Airport.
