Ukraine's jailed former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko says she is ready to take part in negotiations between the opposition and President Viktor Yanukovych but says the only possible subject of such negotiations could be the terms and conditions of Yanukovych's resignation.
Tymoshenko, in an interview published by Ukraine's ZN.UA weekly on February 14, said when Yanukovych is ready for "real" negotiations they should be started and completed quickly.
She also said she believes pressure on Yanukovych should be increased until he gets ready to start "real negotiations" with the opposition.
Tymoshenko was sentenced in 2011 to seven years in prison after she was found guilty of abuse of power and embezzlement.
Her trial has been denounced by many international organizations and Western nations as politically motivated.
