Goffin Defeats Ukraine’s Dolgopolov To Win Shenzhen Tennis Title

Belgian David Goffin defeated Ukraine’s Oleksandr Dolgopolov to win the Shenzhen Open tennis tournament.

The 26-year-old Goffin, ranked 12th in the world, defeated Dolgopolov 6-4, 6-7 (5/7), 6-3 in the final match in the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen on October 1.

Dolgopolov defeated Damir Dzumhur of Bosnia-Herzegovina on September 30 to advance to the finals.

The 28-year-old Ukrainian has one title this year, having won in Buenos Aires in February.
