The bodies of 250 Ukrainian soldiers killed in action in Russian-occupied parts of the country have been handed over to the Ukrainian authorities, the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported in a message on Telegram on August 2. The message said the bodies belonged to Ukrainian soldiers killed in Luhansk, Bakhmut, Maryinka, Avdiyivka, Kherson, Zaporizhzhya, Mariupol, and Horlivka. The transfer of bodies was carried out in accordance with the norms of the Geneva Conventions, the headquarters said.
