Unrest In Kosovo Ahead Of Solana Visit

28 September 2004 -- A house owned by a Serb family came under attack late yesterday in northern Kosovo.
The UN mission in Kosovo said unknown attackers threw grenades and fired bullets at the home in Suvi Do near the town of Kosovska Mitrovica. Police assigned to the UN mission said all the family members managed to escape from the house unharmed.

The attack comes ahead of a visit to Prishtina later today by EU security and foreign policy chief Javier Solana. His visit is part of the international community's fact-finding mission ahead of October's general elections in the province.
