Russia Extends Deadline For Overflight Fees

1 October 2004 -- Russia's Ministry of Transportation today gave several airlines of other CIS countries until 10 October to pay off their debts for transiting Russian airspace.
The original deadline was today for airlines from Armenia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Ukraine to pay the $22.8 million bill they have collectively accumulated.
