Three Afghan Truckers Killed In Ambush

(RFE/RL) May 25, 2006 -- The U.S.-led coalition in Afghanistan today said that three Afghan truck drivers were killed when their convoy was ambushed by militants in restive southeastern Afghanistan.
The three-truck convoy was traveling from Bagram Airfield north of Kabul to a coalition base in Wazi Khwa district of Paktika Province yesterday when it was attacked.


One driver survived, and one is missing.
