The announcement was made today by commission member Bolot
Sherniyazov.

Also today, lawmakers said they would vote on a draft resolution assessing
the incident on September 21.

Tekebaev was arrested at Warsaw airport on September 6 after Polish police
found heroin in his luggage. A Warsaw district court later concluded that the
drugs had been planted and ordered Tekebaev's release.

The Kyrgyz opposition leader says he was framed by the National Security
Service (SNB), with the possible consent of high-ranking state
officials.

SNB Chairman Busurmankul Tabaldiev has resigned over the scandal, while
denying any wrongdoing.

Tabaldiev's first deputy, President Kurmanbek Bakiev's brother Janysh, has
been removed from office. He, too, denies any involvement in the Tekebaev
case.
