UN Nuclear Watchdog Suspends Some Aid To Iran

(CTK) February 10, 2007 -- The UN nuclear agency has suspended nearly half of its technical aid to Iran to uphold UN sanctions imposed on Tehran over its disputed nuclear program.

The aid reduction will go for final approval to a March meeting of the board of governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

The IAEA suspension came as Iran's chief nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani prepared to attend today's security conference in the German city of Munich.
