Attacks Kill 20 Near Al-Ramadi

The results of a May 6 car bombing in Baghdad (AFP) May 7, 2007 -- Police say two suicide car bombers killed 20 people and wounded more than 40 in separate attacks near Iraq's western city of Al-Ramadi today.

North of the capital Baghdad, insurgents have shot dead six Iraqi soldiers.


Medical officials in the town of Khalis in Diyala Governorate said the bodies of the six were handed over to them today.


On May 6, at least 100 Iraqis were killed or found dead across the country.
