Six NATO Soldiers, Afghan Interpreter Killed In Blast

(RFE/RL) July 4, 2007 -- NATO said six soldiers with the International Security Assistance Force and their Afghan interpreter were killed today when their vehicle struck a bomb in southern Afghanistan.

Afghan police officials said the attack happened in Kandahar Province. The head of Canadian forces in Afghanistan said the dead soldiers were Canadians.
