Protesters marched in Moscow on March 6 to voice their opposition to Vladimir Putin's return to the presidency ahead of his inauguration on May 7. Police scuffled with the protesters and detained dozens, including opposition leaders Alexei Navalny, Boris Nemtsov, and Sergei Udaltsov. Leading dissident Garry Kasparov told reporters that the police crackdown is a sign of the government's fear of the opposition. (Reuters video)
