'March Of Millions' In Moscow

The anti-Putin protest drew tens of thousands of people, with some organizers placing the number as high as 100,000.

Members of a local Communist Party branch were among the factions.

Young protesters wore white ribbons, a symbol of Russia's pro-democracy movement.

One poster showed Vladimir Putin taking the mantle from authoritarian Uzbek President Islam Karimov and read, "Vova [Vladimir] -- Welcome To The Club!"

A banner carried by the opposition Solidary Movement declared "Russia Forward!"

Demonstrators carried a model of a colorful balaclava mask -- the symbol of the jailed female protesters of the punk group Pussy Riot.
