At NAM Summit, UN Chief Criticizes Iran's Anti-Israel Stance

At a summit in Iran of leaders of the Nonaligned Movement (NAM), UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon reprimanded Iranian leaders for "outrageous" comments denying the Holocaust and Israel's right to exist. Ban called on Iran and Israel to drop their threats against each other, and urged Iran as well to comply with UN resolutions demanding it curb its nuclear activities. (AFP)
