Russian BASE Jumper Leaps Off Everest

Russian daredevil Valery Rozov has set a record for the highest-ever BASE jump -- a parachute jump from a fixed object -- by leaping off a cliff on Mount Everest at an altitude of more than 7,000 meters. The feat marks the 60th anniversary of the first successful ascent of the mountain. (AP)
