Activists Arrested Near Russian Consulate In Odesa

Ukrainian police detained four activists during clashes near the Russian consulate in Odesa on September 18. Angry at a vote to the Russian State Duma being held in the annexed Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea, the activists had tried to prevent Russian citizens from voting in the parliamentary elections. The detainees were charged with disobeying police officers and disorderly conduct.
