Al-Qaeda Says CIA Deaths 'Revenge' For Drone Attacks

The U.S. monitoring group SITE has said a message purportedly from Al-Qaeda posted on the Internet claimed responsibility for a December 30 attack that killed seven CIA agents in eastern Afghanistan was revenge for U.S. predator drone strikes in Pakistan's tribal area.

A Jordanian national now said to have been working with Al-Qaeda managed to enter the base by posing as an informant who could help the U.S. military locate and eliminate Al-Qaeda leaders in the Afghan-Pakistan border area.
