Iran's official IRNA news agency reports that the Iranian government has executed a brother of the jailed leader of "Jundollah," a Sunni Muslim rebel group.
The report says Abdolhamid Rigi, convicted of being a member of Jundollah, was hanged in a prison on May 24 in the southeastern city of Zahedan.
Iran detained Jundollah leader Abdolmalek Rigi in February, accusing his group of being behind a bombing that killed dozens of people last year.
Iranian officials say the group has links to Al-Qaeda and support from Pakistan, Britain, and the United States.
