At least eight passengers in a minibus have been killed when their vehicle was hit by an explosion in southeast Turkey.
It was not immediately clear whether the minibus had hit a land mine or whether the explosion occurred inside the vehicle.
The minibus was traveling in Hakkari province, on the border with Iraq and Iran, when the explosion happened.
Three people were also wounded.
Turkish media reports said officials believe the blast was caused by a land mine planted by fighters from the Kurdistan's Workers Party (PKK).
The PKK has been fighting for self-rule in the country's mainly Kurdish southeast since the early 1980s, but PKK militants have officially been on cease-fire since last month.
