Going To Belgrade? Don't Miss The Karadzic Tour

There is something deeply farcical about Karadzic's second-life. Well, now you have a chance to relive it. A Belgrade tour company has said it is launching a Karadzic tour as "journalists and foreign tourists are eager to see the sites he frequented before Serbian authorities arrested him on July 21."

Visitors will be brought to see the bar Luda Kuca (Crazy House) where Karadzic, aka Doctor Dabic, played gusle, a traditional Montenegrin string instrument.

Also featured will be a grocery shop where he bought bread and wine, the place he was taken from the bus and arrested, and restaurants where he ate pizzas and pancakes

Sounds like quite the tour. Our own South Slavic and Albanian Languages Service reports that in central Serbia there has been a spike in sales of Karadzic memorabilia, like CDs and calendars. All we need now is "Karadzic The Musical."
