How To Redesign A ‘Sexy’ Logo To Make It Islamic

More on the "sexy" logo we blogged the other day, with an Iranian site Chaharnama suggesting several alternative designs. (Hard-liners are up in arms about the logo of a Tehran newspaper, which they say looks like a dancing woman.)

Chaharnama's first suggestion is the same logo with a moustache. The second is a man with a huge moustache holding a banner that says "Tehran Emrooz."

The third is a symbol most Iranians are very familiar with: the webpage that pops up when something is filtered. The fourth suggests "jamming," again something Iranians are familiar with. The fifth suggests "Tehran Emrooz" (Tehran Today) has become "Tehran Diruz" (Tehran Yesterday).

And the last is just a nifty bit of censorship.

Meanwhile, viral goodness from filmmaker Babak Payami with "Hey, Ayatollah Leave Those Kids Alone."
