Under Attack In Belarus

RFE/RL's resident cartoonist in Belarus, Kaсiaryna Marсinovich, takes on the recent Russian TV documentaries meant to show up Belarusian President Alyaksandr Lukashenka.

Russia's NTV, which is hugely popular in Belarus, has recently shown two films critical of Lukashenka, which delve into his personal life and imply all manner of skullduggery.

Along with a raft of other anti-Lukashenka material in the Russian media, the coverage has prompted speculation that the Kremlin is trying to oust Lukashenka. More of that here.
