Afghan Tea House Bomb Blast Kills At Least Three

A bomb explosion at a tea house in northern Afghanistan has killed at least three people.

Abdul Sattar Barez, the deputy governor of the northern Faryab province, said on February 5 that the bombing targeted a restaurant in the Khwaja Sabz Posh district.

He said that at least 9 more people were injured in the morning attack.

Nobody has claimed responsibility for the bombing.

Barez said personal rivalries were often "one of the main elements of such attacks."

The Taliban and allied extremist groups have recently staged some attacks in the region.
