Afghanistan Suicide Bomb Kills Three

Afghan officials say that a suicide car bomber killed three civilians, including two children, in southern Afghanistan.

Abdullah Himmat, a spokesman for the provincial governor, said the bomb detonated near the police headquarters in the Dehrawud district of Oruzgan Province.

No one has taken responsibility for the attack.

But similar attacks in the past have been blamed on Taliban militants.

On November 29, 10 civilians, including women and children, were killed when their vehicle hit a roadside bomb in the same district.
