Homaira Nawrozi, 23, is a teacher in Lashkar Gah, the capital of Afghanistan's embattled Helmand Province. She wanted to give other Afghans a chance to learn outside of the classroom, so she opened her own small library where anyone can visit, read, and learn. The initiative provides valuable opportunities to Afghan girls and women, for whom the right to an education is far from guaranteed.
