Taliban Attack Security Building In Wardak, Afghanistan

At least four Afghan intelligence agents were killed and when a group of Taliban militants attacked an intelligence bureau in central Afghanistan's Wardak province.

Provincial spokesman Attaullah Khogyani said at least five of the six insurgents were killed, and some 30 civilians injured, in the attack on a National Directorate of Security building in Maidan Shar, the provincial capital.

He said one of the attackers detonated an explosives-filled truck bomb at the entrance to the building before the others opened fire on troops guarding the facility.
