A former researcher for a British parliamentarian has denied spying for Russia after being released on bail.
Ekaterina Zatuliveter, 25, a former assistant for the Liberal Democrat member of parliament, Mike Hancock, vowed to clear her name and said she was determined to remain in Britain.
Zatuliveter's comments came in a statement issued after she was relased from an immigration detention center.
British authorities are trying to deport her amid allegations that she worked for Russia's intelligence services.
Zatuliveter said she was looking for new employment to support herself, having lost her job as Hancock's researcher.
