Armenian demonstrators remained on the streets of central Yerevan on June 24 during ongoing protests against a planned increase in electricity prices. Riot police had used water cannons to forcefully disperse mass protests on June 22, but the demonstrations the following day and night remained peaceful. (RFE/RL's Armenian Service)
