Ismayilova Accepts Amal Clooney As Lawyer

Imprisoned RFE/RL contributor Khadija Islayilova has accepted prominent human rights lawyer Amal Clooney as her legal representative. In a statement she praised Clooney's "courage" in the case of a jailed Egyptian journalist in 2014. Earlier Clooney, wife of Hollywood star George Clooney, said she would take Khadija's case to the European Court of Human Rights. (RFE/RL)
