Prince Harry, the third in line to the British throne, is on his way back home after his second tour of duty in Afghanistan.
He said while in Afghanistan that he had shot at Taliban insurgents as a co-pilot gunner in an Apache attack helicopter.
"If there's people trying to do bad stuff to our guys, then we'll take them out of the game, I suppose," Harry was quoted as saying in "The Guardian" newspaper. "Take a life to save a life...the squadron's been out here. Everyone's fired a certain amount."
Harry also spoke about a Taliban attack on a camp in the southern province of Helmand, which happened on his birthday in September.
He said about 15 soldiers were involved in the attack on the base in the middle of Afghanistan.
