China has sent the second Chinese woman into space.
A Shenzhou, or "Divine Vessel" capsule, with three astronauts aboard, lifted off on June 11 aboard a Long March rocket from the Jiuquan launch center in western China.
President Xi Jinping was at Jiuquan to watch the launch.
The 15-day mission will include a docking at China’s Tiangong-1, or “Heavenly Palace,” orbiting space module.
The crew includes Wang Yaping, 33, China’s second female astronaut.
During the mission, she is expected to deliver a school lesson from space to Chinese students.
