Czech Foreign Minister Martin Stropnicky defended his country's decision to block the preparation of a joint European Union statement criticizing the relocation of the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Speaking to RFE/RL's Ray Furlong on May 14, Stropnicky said the Czech Republic did not want to make a commitment not to move its embassy too.
