A prison in Jirice, near Prague, treats its inmates rather differently. On condition of good behavior and nearing the end of their term, some are relocated to a Scandinavian-style "open prison," where they spend time doing garden work and feeding animals such as rabbits, llamas, roosters, and even kangaroos.
