People in one English city have reacted with disbelief that a member of parliament had been killed in a street attack. Jo Cox, a 41-year-old legislator, was killed in a shooting and stabbing attack in her constituency in northern England. A 52-year-old suspect was arrested soon after the incident on June 16. Both sides suspended campaigning in the referendum on Britain's membership of the European Union next week as a mark of respect. Residents in the city of Boston in Eastern England said they were not sure what really led to the attack.
