In Sarajevo, there was a warm welcome for Turkish President Tayyip Recep Erdogan, who is on a one-day visit to Bosnia. After a salute from the guard of honor, he was due to meet the Bosniak, Serb, and Croat members of the country’s collective presidency. He was then scheduled to sign bilateral agreements and reopen the Emperor’s Mosque and Ottoman-era hamam in Sarajevo’s Old Town, where Turkey has paid for extensive repairs after war damage in the 1990s.
