EU Foreign Ministers Gather In Luxembourg

European Union foreign ministers are gathering in Luxembourg for talks that are expected to include the heightening crisis in Syria.

British Foreign Secretary William Hague said EU foreign ministers would also discuss Egypt, the EU reaction to the Arab Spring developments, and sanctions against Iran.

The foreign ministerial conference comes ahead of the planned June 26 ambassadorial meeting of NATO.

The alliance said that the ambassadors would convene on June 26 due to Turkey's request for consultations over the downing of its military jet by Syria on June 22.
