The race for French president is too close to call as voters prepare to cast ballots in the first round of presidential elections on Sunday, April 23. Polls show four candidates hovering around 20 percent support including far-right candidate Marine Le Pen and far-left candidate Jean-Luc Melenchon. Riding a wave of antiestablishment anger, both have threatened to pull France out of the European Union and out of the NATO military alliance. (Reuters)
