Thousands of supporters of Georgian opposition parties have protested in the capital, Tbilisi, against the election of the ruling party-backed candidate Salome Zurabishvili to the presidency. The opposition alleges election fraud. The December 2 rally was addressed via a video link by former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili.
