Iran's Leader To Unveil Nuclear Projects

Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad (C) inspects the Natanz nuclear plant in 2007.

Iran's government website says President Mahmud Ahmadinejad is to unveil several new completed nuclear projects on February 15.

The official website did not specify what the new projects would be, but said "experts believe these achievements will show the world the extraordinary capability and knowledge of Iranians."

It also said the progress would underline Iran's scientific adherence to "nuclear power for all and nuclear weapons for none."

Western powers accuse Iran of seeking nuclear weapons, and the United States and the European Union recently imposed additional tough economic sanctions on Iran to pressure it to halt its nuclear activities.

Iran has repeatedly said its nuclear program is entirely peaceful.
