Destroyed vehicles littered the streets of Kadhimiya, a mainly Shi'ite neighborhood of Baghdad, on August 26 after two car bombs went off overnight, killing at least 11 people. The attacks were part of a wave of bombings that has left at least 50 dead over the past day in Baghdad and the southern cities of Karbala and Hillah. (Reuters)
