Gunmen have launched a deadly attack on a camp near a gas field run by a South Korean firm in western Iraq.
Local authorities in the town of Qaim, near the Iraqi-Syrian border, said that the gunmen killed at least two people and wounded at least one other.
At least one person was reported kidnapped after the attack, which occurred on the night of April 1.
The victims worked on the Akkaz gas field, which is operated by the Korea Gas Corporation.
Nobody has taken responsibility for the attack.
The Akkaz gas field, with estimated reserves of 158.6 billion cubic meters, was discovered in 1992.
