Italian Rescuers Search For Survivors After Deadly Quake

Italian rescue workers pulled survivors from the rubble of collapsed buildings in the town of Amatrice after a strong earthquake struck central Italy in the early morning of August 24. The magnitude 6.2 quake shook the region for at least 20 seconds leaving at least 21 dead and trapping many more. The town center of Amatrice, some 100 kilometers northeast of Rome, was completely devastated. "The town isn't here anymore," said the mayor, Sergio Pirozzi. (AP video)
